FAQ
Q: What should I do first? A: Score one real job in New Job Scan. A real posting gives RoleWorth enough context to show the Worth Score, fit factors, posting risk, and next action. After that, improve your profile and Proof Bank so future scores become more specific.
Q: Does RoleWorth submit applications for me? A: No unattended autonomous final submission. Submission-adjacent workflows require explicit user review and confirmation. Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby are review-gated and fixture-gated where supported. LinkedIn, Workday, login-required, captcha-protected, and manual-only postings remain manual-required unless verified support is shown.
Q: What ATS systems are supported? A: RoleWorth evaluates the specific posting and source path, not only the vendor name. A Greenhouse, Lever, or Ashby path may be supported only when the product has fixture proof and a review gate for that flow. Unsupported, login-required, captcha-protected, or unclear paths stop as guided/manual-required.
Q: What is a Worth Score? A: A Worth Score is a decision signal for whether a role deserves effort. It combines requirements match, proof strength, effort versus return, posting risk, seniority fit, and compensation or location fit. It is meant to help you prioritize, not to guarantee an outcome.
Q: Why did a role become Maybe instead of Apply? A: Maybe usually means the role has promise but there is a missing or uncertain piece: weak proof, unclear compensation, questionable seniority, stale posting signals, location mismatch, or a source path that needs manual review.
Q: Can I use RoleWorth without uploading a resume? A: You can score jobs with pasted text, but your results will be more generic. Uploading a resume and adding proof points gives the decision engine stronger evidence and makes kits easier to review.
Q: What should I put in Proof Bank? A: Add concrete evidence: metrics, projects, leadership examples, shipped work, customer or revenue impact, technical scope, tools used, and interview stories. The best proof points are specific enough that you can explain them under interview pressure.
Q: Is my data sold? A: No. Career-search data is never sold.
Q: What happens when I hit my plan limit? A: Usage pages should show plan counters and limits. If you are close to the limit, score only the roles you are seriously considering and avoid generating kits for weak matches.
Q: Why does the product stop instead of finishing a workflow? A: A stop usually means RoleWorth reached a review, support, source, sign-in, captcha, or fixture-proof boundary. That is expected behavior. Review the item, use the manual path when needed, and keep the pipeline updated.
