Troubleshooting

Use this page when RoleWorth stops, asks for review, or returns a manual-required state. Most blocks are intentional: the product should preserve the audit trail and hand work back to you instead of pretending a risky or unsupported action succeeded.

Magic link does not arrive: check spam, confirm the email address, complete Turnstile if shown, and wait for the rate-limit window before retrying. If you changed browsers, return to the same browser where you requested the link.

Upload fails: keep files under 5MB and use PDF, DOCX, Markdown, or plain text. If a PDF has scanned images instead of selectable text, convert it or paste the resume text manually. If extraction looks wrong, simplify the file and re-upload.

Score looks weak or generic: paste the full posting, add the source URL, include salary/location details if visible, and check whether the source is thin or unsupported. Profile and Proof Bank data improve Studio materials after the job earns effort; they should not be treated as a substitute for a complete posting.

Queue is empty: start with Worth Score for one role or Jobs Ranker for several roles. If you expected a completed ranked run, refresh once, then check whether the run failed, timed out, or requires sign-in.

Checkout or portal fails: verify you are signed in, billing is enabled for the environment, and your browser is not blocking the checkout window. Treat repeated billing failure as a launch blocker rather than a user workflow issue.

Application Kit has incorrect claims: remove the claim, update your Proof Bank, and regenerate if needed. Do not approve a kit that describes experience you cannot defend.

ATS or submission step says manual-required: the host is unsupported, login-required, captcha-protected, manual-only, or not fixture-proven yet. LinkedIn and Workday should be handled manually unless verified support is shown. Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby require review-gated, fixture-gated support before submission-related actions should continue.

When in doubt, do not force automation. Save the job, preserve the audit trail, move the item to Job Tracking if you take manual action, and use the guided path.
