Track pipeline
Pipeline is the operating record for your search. Use it after a role becomes real work: an application you sent, a recruiter conversation, an interview loop, an offer process, or a clear closed outcome. The pipeline is where RoleWorth stops being only a scoring tool and becomes a memory system.
Typical stages are: Queued for analysis -> Verifying job posting -> Reading the job description -> Evaluating fit -> Drafting your application kit -> Awaiting your approval -> Applied -> Recruiter screen -> Hiring manager screen -> Interview loop -> Offer -> Closed.
Keep each role updated with the next action and date. Examples: follow up with recruiter on Friday, prepare three stories for hiring manager screen, send thank-you note, wait for compensation range, or close as no response after two follow-ups. These small notes are what prevent a search from becoming a pile of open tabs.
Use outcome fields honestly. Mark roles as closed when they are no longer active, even if the reason is unknown. Record rejections, no-response outcomes, withdrawals, and offers. Over time, the pattern matters: you can see which role types score well, which ones convert, and where your evidence needs work.
Pipeline is also where manual-required actions belong. If a LinkedIn or Workday application must be completed manually, track that handoff here after you take the real-world action. If a Greenhouse, Lever, or Ashby flow is supported, it still belongs behind review and fixture gates before any submission-related status is treated as complete.
